How bloomin' awkward is this weather to dress for?! I’ve lost count of the amount of times I've exclaimed this over the past couple of weeks. This terrible transitional periods certainly taking its toll. One minute I’m freezing, drenched in the dreary Manchester rain, the next thing I’m boiling hot! It’s literally like God is sat in the sky flicking a switch between summer and winter. Where is the chilly autumn weather and crisp crunchy leaves I crave?!

Boots for Summer? Groundbreaking.

Does anyone else HATE summer shoes? Slinky strappy sandals, crisp white trainers & flimsy flip flops are my idea of hell. I’m definitely no summer baby. I LOVE a good festival, but barely there bottoms and strappy floral frills… not so much a summer fave. Give me oversized jumpers and docs any day.

January Sales: The Best Bits

The longest month in the world (January) is FINALLY over and to be completely honest, the only good thing to come out of it was my sales buys. I’m not afraid to push through the rails and wrestle people for the last item in my size, contrary to most people, I actually love sales shopping!

By Blish Launch Party – Manchester

Sean Blishen launched her much anticipated clothing range, By Blish, in Manchester last Saturday night. The Spinningfields venue was VERY aesthetically pleasing, in addition to being packed full of rails of her gorgeous collection, we were surrounded by personalised helium balloons, By Blish cupcakes, sweets, lightboxes and of course, the amazing flower wall. The event was rather ‘instagramable’ to say the least! Perhaps if I was slightly less distracted by nattering, cupcakes and prosecco, I’d have a better picture selection…
